Pete Averson is recognized for his integrity and extensive knowledge of which commercial properties are selling or leasing today and at what prices and lease rates. He has well established connections with many local businesses and community leaders. He is very involved in the local community and with many non profit organizations including Rotary International, Junior Achievement, Boulder County Partners, the Longmont Area Economic Council, Boulder Shelter for the Homeless, the YMCA, and the Longmont Parks & Recreation Advisory Board.

Pete Averson
Pete Averson, is the broker/owner of Boulder Commercial Real Estate & Business Brokerage. Previously, Pete was the managing broker for the Boulder office of the international commercial brokerage firm Sperry Van Ness. Pete is a New York State Certified Public Accountant and was the Chief Financial Officer of Boulder Electric Vehicle and formerly CFO of Stickley Furniture.
Pete provides in-depth understanding of the local market, expertise on all types of commercial transactions, and business advice designed to get you outstanding results. Using various databases and local connections, Pete can quickly determine the office, industrial, flex, or another type of property that might fit your needs, the prices being paid in today’s market, and the insight to help you negotiate a sound deal. He puts integrity first and understands that building trust is the cornerstone to any relationship.
He is a relentless problem solver, a powerful negotiator, and a seasoned business analyst who is now bringing those skills and experience to help solve all of your commercial real estate needs. Pete has an MBA from Syracuse University.
Pete moved to Longmont from New York in 2004 and loves all that Colorado has to offer. He is an avid snowboarder, biker, yoga practitioner, and hiker- his daily view of Long’s Peak has inspired him to “conquer” that majestic mountain three times and nine other 14ers to date!
